Noé Kains is an arts administrator, pianist, and singer. Prior to starting different birds in 2025, he was the ED/ General Manager and a musician with tap dance company Music From The Sole, booking, producing, and performing in tours to major venues across the US and abroad, including the Joyce Theater, Jacob's Pillow, The Yard, Works & Process at the Guggenheim, Vail Dance Festival, White Bird, Mass MoCA, and New York City Center. Other performance credits include performances at the Munich Cathedral, Walters Arts Museum, and in The Glass Etudes, in celebration of Philip Glass’ 85th birthday.
Noé studied at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels, the UK, and Israel, and also holds a MSci in Physics from Imperial College London, Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of St Andrews. In addition to maintaining he freelance career as a pianist and singer, he worked for 10 years as a research astronomer, holding postdoctoral fellowships in Germany and Baltimore, before teaching astronomy at Barnard College and Columbia University.
Since returning to the arts full-time, Noé has used his multi-faceted background to support a wide range of artists, particularly in dance, but also in music and theatre, as they navigate not only booking, but everything that makes work tour-ready, whether they are early-career or established.
